Every captured point converts into this system immediately. Change it any time — points already captured stay as they are; only new captures use the new system. Column convention is Y, X, Z — Westing/Southing for the SA Survey Grids, Northing/Easting for UTM.
Cape Datum accuracy note
The shift from Cape Datum to Hartebeesthoek94/WGS84 isn't uniform across South Africa. This applies the single published 3-parameter shift (roughly 15m accuracy at best), fine for general mapping, not for cadastral or precision work.

CSV/Excel export as ID,Y,X,Z,Code — the first four columns match the main RA Converter's upload format exactly, so you can import captured points straight into a conversion job with no changes needed there. DXF opens directly in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and most other CAD software — points, ID/code labels, and the drawn line (if any) all included as real entities, not just a picture.
